Join us for a friendly badminton game on the 21st and 22nd of June, from 12pm to 3pm (drop in anytime), outside the Albion Riverside building on Hester Road. This event is hosted by Royal College of Art student Dora Grabkowska as part of the RCA Spatial Value unit, in collaboration with Foster + Partners and the Wandsworth Council.

The initiative proposes a unique approach to the Albion Riverside square, organising a series of badminton matches to temporarily activate the space. Exploring the concept of invisible borders and accessibility, it challenges the distinction between public and private spaces. Through this project, Dora explores the participatory nature of art, viewing art not just as a static object but as an interactive process that engages the audience, bridging the gap between artist and spectator.

Let's come together to play, connect, and rethink spatial dynamics in a fun and engaging way!

Badminton rackets and shuttlecocks will be available to use. All skill levels are welcome, no experience necessary.
