Children / Family - Free Event - Music - Workshops

Arts and crafts, music and entertainment are in store for all the family on Sunday June 23rd when Hazelfest – a mini green festival - takes place for the sixth year running.

Work and Play Scrapstore (WaPS) – the London-based arts and crafts re-use charity - is staging Hazelfest on the green outside its premises on the Hazelhurst Estate, Tooting. The estate comes alive with colour, celebration and activity for this free afternoon.

Hazelfest collaborates with artists and performers of note, community groups and local residents to celebrate artful re-use. Visitors can expect over a dozen craft stalls, football coaching from AFC Wimbledon, snacks and refreshments and three live music performances including the drumming group from local charity Generate, back due to popular demand.

Hazelfest also collaborates with local community groups and charities, including BATCA, Summerstown Mission, Tooting Community Kitchen, Generate and AFC Wimbledon.
