Digital Roses brings their audiovisual project ‘Narrative in Time and Space’ to a live setting.
Avant-garde electronic art-pop audio-visual duo DIGITAL ROSES embark on an innovative exploration delving into the historical relationship between people and sound.
Expanding upon the online project and incorporating their brand of soulful Nordic noir and experimental electronic music within the vibrant landscape of Wandsworth Libraries.
With a spotlight on its multifaceted identity, the project encompasses Wandsworth’s rich history, vibrant art scene, diverse culture, and thriving Queer community, all within an immersive sonic journey.
Captured recordings, images, and video footage from various corners of Wandsworth, Digital Roses encapsulate the essence of each library space, each story heard in the echoes and acoustics crafted to evocative audiovisual compositions. This collection finds its poignant showcase in Battersea Library's historical reference library, a fitting environment for its intersection of past and present.
This performance will be brought to life with support from the Battersea Reference Library, the beautiful people of Wandsworth, Producer Spiros Maus, and the gorgeous sounds of Saxodrone.
