Join Oily Cart in a world of sounds, celebrating Autistic creativity. The 'Sound Symphony: Sensory Film' was created with Autistic and non-Autistic musicians of all ages. From a classical concerto to the whir of a washing machine, the flourishes of a clarinet to the click of a light switch, all sounds are celebrated.
This Wandsworth Arts Fringe, the 'Sound Symphony: Sensory Film' will be popping up in public spaces across the borough!
Shot in unexpected places across the UK – a cellist performs at the top of a Scottish mountain, a pianist plays the inside of a piano with ping pong balls – 'Sound Symphony' celebrates making music your own way.
Oily Cart is a sensory theatre company based in Tooting. They create performances for and alongside disabled and non-disabled children and their families. They push theatre beyond words, playing with not just five but all thirty-three senses, making accessible shows that connect with and celebrate all young people.
'Sound Symphony: Sensory Film' is based on an original live show co-produced by Independent Arts Project. The film is 16 minutes long, and will be played on a loop at Sprout Community Arts and All Saints Church Tooting.
