The Sprout Summer Showcase features work by over 30 artist members, from emerging artists showing with Sprout for the first time this year, to more established and recognisable names. Many of the artists will be in Sprout to chat to visitors.

Sprout Community Arts has been providing a platform and support for artists at all stages in their careers since 2010.

They provide opportunities to discuss and learn from each other through their Hub meetings and exhibitions are always free for visitors.

They offer opportunities for local artists to show their work in mixed and group exhibitions as well as solo shows, and welcome submissions to stage exhibitions and workshops from new members.

Sprout is open 50 weeks of the year, hosting an Artist in Residence event during the month of August and a Christmas Market over three weeks in December.

Sprout will offer a programme of workshops running alongside the show (www.sproutarts.com) and they are pleased to include the Oily Cart film 'Sound Symphony: Sensory Film' showing in our window on the weekend of 15th and 16th June.
