"The Nine Songs" is an avant-garde audiovisual show that weaves together music, visual arts, interactive elements, dance, and theatrical performance.

Drawing inspiration from "The Nine Songs" found within the classical Chinese anthology "Chuci," this show brings to life the spellbinding myths chronicled by ancient poets. In an age deeply connected to the natural world, primordial beliefs spurred the creation of music and dance, as communities celebrated through rhythmic drumming and earthbound dances. These mythological narratives, enriched by the boundless creativity of the poets and intertwined with advances in technology, transcend the barriers of time and mortality, urging us to delve into the cosmos and the mysteries beyond.

Against this historical tapestry, "The Nine Songs" promises a compelling audiovisual experience during the Dragon Boat Festival, showcasing an innovative blend of music, dance, and visual storytelling.

7.05PM	Jiayi Lin、Raine Li-"Yi-The Buckwheat Has Bloomed" "The Buckwheat Has Bloomed" is a digital art piece inspired by the Yi epic "Meige", blending traditional themes with modern techniques to celebrate and preserve Yi cultural heritage and its connections to the cosmos.
7.10PM	Akane Hiraoka-"Beyond the Code: Mia's Odyssey" “Beyond the Code: Mia’s Odyssey” is an animated metaphorical journey of self-discovery in a digital desert. Mia, an origami figure in a digital realm, exploring themes of identity and connection
7.25PM	Sen Kwok-“Bereavement lll". Bereavement III will explore the significance of death and farewell through a series of physical movements and expressions.
7.35PM	Peng Yu Contemporary Dance Company-"Echoes of Departure" Inspired by Qu Yuan's Li Sao, our work delves into the nature of land, memory and thoughts of home through fragmented narratives. Weaving together poetry, movement and emotion, it presents a journey of introspection and exploration.
7.45PM	Chi Sandford、Zhiyan Cai-"Thousand faces” The "Thousand-Faced" series draws from the Chinese Nuo Opera's "Mountain Opening God" mask, blending tradition with a focus on exploring the fierce and formidable aspects of femininity, challenging the stereotypical gentle image of female deities.
7.55PM	Andrea"Burnout" "Burnout" documents memos from London and Bali, exploring a woman's journey through burnout and impostor syndrome, highlighting her resilience and navigation through life's challenges.
