Callout: Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2025 Associate Producers

WAF is seeking Associate Producers to join our festival team to support realisation of new work and support our audience development ambitions in the lead up to and during the festival in 2025. The borough’s 2025 flagship festival of arts and culture will be the most ambitious yet, playing a central role during Wandsworth’s year as The Mayor of London’s London Borough of Culture for 2025.  

WAF 2025 will take place from 6 - 22 June 2025 comprising of over 100 events across over 40 venues ranging from open spaces, churches, estates, libraries, pubs and dedicated performance spaces across the borough. The festival is an excellent opportunity to develop relationships with communities and audiences in Wandsworth and beyond and test out new artistic ideas and programming concepts.

We are seeking up to three Associate Producers with an ability to bring their own artists networks, new performance work to WAF, develop new local collaborations, grow audiences and support emerging talent. Applicants will bring a programme of new works across any selected artistic genre; including (but not limited to): theatre, music, dance, outdoor arts and comedy. Successful applicants will bring at least five new performances to the festival over its run and develop strong relationships with venue or space management teams to ensure smooth delivery of their programme. We particularly welcome proposals which help us diversify our programme and supports emerging diverse talent.

The Associate Producers will liaise with Arts and Culture Programme & Partnerships Manager and WAF Festival Producer and will work in collaboration with our Marketing and Communications team in the lead up and during the festival.

The Associate Producers will work with us from January 2025 through till June 2025.Training and support in key delivery areas will be provided including but not limited to: marketing, evaluation, event management, sustainable practice, accessibility and artist support and development methodologies.

 

Application process

Interested applicants are asked to submit a covering letter and proposal in response to the above brief. Including demonstratable understanding and experience of:

  • Working within a Fringe or festival context
  • Programming new work
  • WAF Venue network and indication of space(s) you would like to programme. WAF venues (wandsworthfringe.com)
  • Artist Support
  • Event management including venue liaison and negotiation experience.
  • Marketing and Communications processes

 

Proposals should also include an indicative Artistic Programme and Outline Budget (which must include associated programme and productions costs).

Fees: A fee of up to £5,000 (excluding VAT) is available; inclusive of producer’s fee, associated programming and production costs.
