WAF is taking over the airwaves at Riverside Radio!

WAF artists and creatives will be introducing their events and you can catch their interviews here on our news page, via Soundcloud, or listen live on Play Riverside Radio.


Amazon Visions is a collaboration between British filmmaker, Hing Tsang, and Peruvian performer and puppeteer, Jose Navarro. Taking inspiration from the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest and its unique ecology, Amazon Visions is a film for all ages featuring Wandsworth's most beautiful landscapes showing at the Exhibit in Balham.

Joey and Faridat chat to Aliono and Oksana from the Unique Community performing arts 'The Stork Project' about this years WAF showcase of the extraordinary talents of migrants from Ukraine and Afghanistan as they dissect what it is like after the big event has happened and life has to continue.

Canadian experimental soprano Sarah Parkin talks about 'On Being Vocal' - an a capella, one-woman, micro-opera which she created with Cypriot composer Rania Chrysostomou, and with visuals by British filmmaker Catherine Valve.

Rosie’s programme will reflect her passion for inclusion and places a particular focus on the LGBTQ community. Izzy Sutherland from On The Clouds Kids tells us about her ten free yoga story sessions for children and their families. The sessions are all about bringing stories to life through yoga. On the Clouds will host six yoga story drop-in sessions aimed at different age groups ranging from babies right to teenagers. Alongside this, they will run four Bedtime Yoga Stories for early years and primary school children (aged 6 months - 11) and their grown ups.

THE DIVIDED COLLECTIVE - Emily Denton, Adam Foxall and Francesco Intignano tell us about their performance 'Through the bounds of Masculinity comes the Universe' at The National Opera Studio in Wandsworth Town on Saturday 8th June from 7-8pm.

The show closes the gap between the audio and the visual. Using multiple dance forms, lifts, and contact improvisation the Divided Collective display the energies of the Universe and Masculinity, and just how much they fit together. Struggle explaining how you feel? So do The Divided Collective. This is their visual explanation of what's inside their heads.

The Divided Collective are an emerging collective company for creatives under 30, they invite you to join them and network after the show.
